Summers' Incompetence: Washington, Harvard, Washington
Before reading it, keep in mind that corruption associated with real estate purchased for university expansion is endemic in the Boston area academic community.
In addition, it is also worth mentioning that the Roxbury Mosque controversy, which had a real estate component, started among academic Zionists both associated with Roxbury Community College and also closely connected with Summers.
The article neglects to mention that Summers' mentor mega-financial clown Robert Rubin is probably the dominant personality among the members of the Harvard Corporation.
Harvard ignored warnings about investments
Advisers told Summers, others not to put so much cash in market; losses hit $1.8b
By Beth Healy Globe Staff / November 29, 2009It happened at least once a year, every year. In a roomful of a dozen Harvard University financial officials, Jack Meyer, the hugely successful head of Harvard’s endowment, and Lawrence Summers, then the school’s president, would face off in a heated debate. The topic: cash and how the university was managing - or mismanaging - its basic operating funds.
Through the first half of this decade, Meyer repeatedly warned Summers and other Harvard officials that the school was being too aggressive with billions of dollars in cash, according to people present for the discussions, investing almost all of it with the endowment’s risky mix of stocks, bonds, hedge funds, and private equity. Meyer’s successor, Mohamed El-Erian, would later sound the same warnings to Summers, and to Harvard financial staff and board members.
“Mohamed was having a heart attack,’’ said one former financial executive, who spoke on the condition of anonymity for fear of angering Harvard and Summers. He considered the cash investment a “doubling up’’ of the university’s investment risk.
But the warnings fell on deaf ears, under Summers’s regime and beyond. And when the market crashed in the fall of 2008, Harvard would pay dearly, as $1.8 billion in cash simply vanished. Indeed, it is still paying, in the form of tighter budgets, deferred expansion plans, and big interest payments on bonds issued to cover the losses.
So how did one of the world’s great universities err so badly in something so basic? It is a story with many actors, the story of an institution that grew complacent as its endowment soared ever higher - an institution that, when the crunch hit, was operating on financial auto-pilot, with many key players gone, and those remaining inattentive, in retrospect, to the risks ahead.
“Investing cash alongside the endowment was a long-held strategy that we didn’t decide to change until early 2008,’’ said James F. Rothenberg, Harvard’s treasurer - a part-time, unpaid role. He said the biggest mistake was not to have taken some of the cash off the table, and placed it in safer accounts, as trouble started brewing in the markets and the economy. “We all can look back now and say we wish we did something different,’’ he said.
In the Summers years, from 2001 to 2006, nothing was on auto-pilot. He was the unquestioned commander, a dominating personality with the talent to move a balkanized institution like Harvard, but also a man unafflicted, former colleagues say, with self-doubt in matters of finance.
Certainly, when it came to handling Harvard’s cash account, the former US Treasury secretary had no doubts. Widely considered one of the most brilliant economists of his generation, Summers pushed to invest 100 percent of Harvard’s cash with the endowment and had to be argued down to 80 percent, financial executives say. The cash account grew to $5.1 billion during his tenure, more than the entire endowment of all but a dozen or so colleges and universities.Continued...

As I remember, the South African government put very similar arguments before the International Court of Justice in 1971 to prove the legality of continued South African rule over South-West Africa (Namibia). Guess how much sympathy the South African case received.
Then just when I thought I had reached the limit for my quota of psychotic racist Zionist stupidity for the day, I read Why Aliyah Is Important For You?
The article is yet another Jewish Zionist paean to ethnic narcissism and tells ethnic Ashkenazim that they have the right to steal Palestine from the native population because it makes them feel good to be able express their Jewishness so completely.
By the same logic it must have been wonderful for whites to move to the Old South where they could own blacks and fully express their racial supremacy. Sphere: Related Content

Most Likely False Flag Operation
Glen Greenwald does not mention it in his article below, but we should remember
- that Jewish Zionist Neocon subversives took control of the Pentagon from the start of the Bush administration,
- that these subversives thus had use not only of Israeli but also of Pentagon military or intelligence resources,
- that they had long mobilized hyper-wealthy Jewish Zionist plutocrats with direct or indirect control of numerous private and University laboratories, and
- that they could engage in high-volume scare-mongering through numerous Jewish Zionist dominated media outlets.
A key British official reminds us of the forgotten anthrax attack
(updated below)
Britain is currently engulfed by a probing, controversial investigation into how their Government came to support the invasion of Iraq, replete with evidence that much of what was said at the time by both British and American officials was knowingly false, particularly regarding the unequivocal intention of the Bush administration to attack Iraq for months when they were pretending otherwise. Yesterday, the British Ambassador to the U.S. in 2002 and 2003, Sir Christopher Meyer (who favored the war), testified before the investigative tribunal and said this:
Meyer said attitudes towards Iraq were influenced to an extent not appreciated by him at the time by the anthrax scare in the US soon after 9/11. US senators and others were sent anthrax spores in the post, a crime that led to the death of five people, prompting policymakers to claim links to Saddam Hussein. . . .
On 9/11 Condoleezza Rice, then the US national security adviser, told Meyer she was in "no doubt: it was an al-Qaida operation" . . . It seemed that Paul Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld's deputy, argued for retaliation to include Iraq, Meyer said. . . .
But the anthrax scare had "steamed up" policy makers in Bush's administration and helped swing attitudes against Saddam, who the administration believed had been the last person to use anthrax.
I've written many times before about how the anthrax attack played at least as large of a role as the 9/11 attack itself, if not larger, in creating the general climate of fear that prevailed for years in the U.S. and specifically how the anthrax episode was exploited by leading media and political figures to gin up intense hostility towards Iraq (a few others have argued the same). That's why it's so striking how we've collectively flushed this terrorist attack down the memory hole as though it doesn't exist.

- Extremism in defense of liberty is no vice. Tolerance in the face of tyranny is no virtue.
- Extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice. And moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue.
- Moderation in the protection of liberty is no virtue; extremism in the defense of freedom is no vice.

- On religious issues there can be little or no compromise. There is no position on which people are so immovable as their religious beliefs. There is no more powerful ally one can claim in a debate than Jesus Christ, or God, or Allah, or whatever one calls this supreme being. But like any powerful weapon, the use of God's name on one's behalf should be used sparingly. The religious factions that are growing throughout our land are not using their religious clout with wisdom. They are trying to force government leaders into following their position 100 percent. If you disagree with these religious groups on a particular moral issue, they complain, they threaten you with a loss of money or votes or both.
I'm frankly sick and tired of the political preachers across this country telling me as a citizen that if I want to be a moral person, I must believe in "A," "B," "C" and "D." Just who do they think they are? And from where do they presume to claim the right to dictate their moral beliefs to me?
And I am even more angry as a legislator who must endure the threats of every religious group who thinks it has some God-granted right to control my vote on every roll call in the Senate. I am warning them today: I will fight them every step of the way if they try to dictate their moral convictions to all Americans in the name of "conservatism." -- Speech in the US Senate (16 September 1981)
Understanding and defeating the war on radicalization
If, when you hear that a drone has killed ten or twenty innocent people or more at a wedding or funeral in Pakistan in a military attempt to supposedly kill just one supposed terrorist, and you criticize that disproportionate and immoral use of force, you might be called radical, and extreme. It’s not because your gut instincts are naturally repulsed by what happened, that’s fine. You simply are not supposed to criticize or suggest that what happened was wrong, a violation of international law, or that it creates a desire and an excuse that justifies a similar use of violence by our supposed adversaries, in ways that might also be illegal and immoral.
If, when you hear that more than 1 million innocent people have been killed in a war where we were not fighting an army, or an enemy, but an insurgency that had a right to fight against a foreign invading and occupying military force, and that we not only killed those people, but also tortured them, raped them and destroyed their homes and then sent missionaries to provide them with Bibles in exchange for food and comfort. If you hear that, and you feel morally outraged that a certain faction in our country has used our troops and our money in this way, and you say or write anything critical about it, you might be considered by the powers that be, Democrats and Republicans and some so called independents, a person that has become radicalized.
Becoming radicalized can be compared to getting infected with rabies. If you hang out with, read, or agree with people who have already been infected with radicalism, and who write, speak, and do radical things like write letters critical of the war to newspaper editors, or submit op-eds to newspapers suggesting that the US is committing war crimes in these wars, etc., you can, and might also become radicalized. Like rabies, radicalization makes you appear angry. It can cause you to froth at the mouth as you debate simple concepts like human decency, law and justice and fair play with people who have been inoculated against radicalization. Such people are immune to radicalization due to injections of cash, jobs, appearances on cable TV, a mention in mainstream media as good people, and other perks, and pay offs.
The inoculated are absolutely incapable of understanding things like, you can’t lie your way into an illegal military invasion of a sovereign country, kill off its people, send in para-military groups to carry out slaughters, and then claim to be justified by the deaths of 3000 people, many of whom were foreign nationals and not even Americans, who were killed by other people, and not the people whose country you invaded and subsequently destroyed. Not only will the ambivalence and distorted sense of justice of the inoculated cause people who have been radicalized to froth at the mouth, it has been known to occasionally boil the blood to the point that a radicalized person will simply shut down, refuse to ever speak again and go into seclusion.
Radicalization, if it leads to frustration, can kill the spirit of even the strongest among us, when it reaches the point that logic shuts down, causing a person to believe the entire world has gone mad, and that it’s useless to say anything more, or to expect that anyone gives a damn, or that things will ever change. In such cases, the radicalized person might resort to bingo, and refuse to read newspapers or even to watch TV anymore.
Now, those who are involved in detecting radicalization and wiping it out or curing it, are not concerned that radicals might actually do anything violent, since it almost never happens. Yet, they must, and do suggest that radicalization leads to violence because it is the only way that they can get money to fight radicalization, or rather to fight free speech and expression and also the US Constitution that guarantees such rights as free speech and political expression. You see, no one can get government money to overtly undermine the US Constitution, or to violate our Constitutional rights. They can get millions, even billions to protect our country from the threat of terrorism.
This is why radicalization experts claim that the inevitable consequence of the dreaded disease, radicalization is politically motivated violence, or terrorism. Like rabies, it supposedly gives the appearance of mental illness, but can only be diagnosed as such if it is found in Zionists. Their violence and extremism is always the result of mental illnesses, or its self defense, while the common person’s moral outrage must be the result of radicalization. It is similar to a neurological disorder that prevents a person from being able to see evil as goodness, and goodness as weakness.
Radicakization is a type of moral dissonance that will not allow an infected person to believe that we are actually seeing our government and military act as an immoral and barbaric conquering force, completely ignoring the laws that we helped to impress upon the world as right and good and essential to peaceful co-existence. Laws like the Geneva Conventions. Yet, since moral dissonance has not been recognized by the AMA as a real mental illness, radicalization remains like rabies, a contagious neurological like disease that supposedly can only lead to violence, and so according to the experts, including the established religious experts who condone and support the war on radicalization, it must be eradicated.
Since aside from the Wall Street robber barons, our government is the only institution that can never run out of money, so long as it has a press that can print money, those who are part of the anti-terrorism industry must always have an angle whereby they can parlay their deep insights into the hearts and souls of the American sheeple, into cold hard government cash, formerly known as taxpayer money. Without much research or study, they know intuitively that enough outrageous behavior by our government and military will lead to the moral outrage of many American people. Eureka! What better way to make a buck than to bank on the fact that a free people will use their rights to free speech and political expression to criticize a government that claims to be representative, yet has clearly adopted a set of values and created for itself a law that is completely opposite of the values and laws of the people it claims to represent.
There is a cure for radicalization, but it doesn’t get much attention. You will almost never hear the word cure even mentioned by radicalization experts. Just like conspiracy theories surrounding cancer research and cures for other deadly diseases, the idea is that if radicalization is cured, the anti-radicalization industry will go out of business, and even worse, all of their lies will be exposed and they will lose credibility, maybe even be put in jail for lying to Congress and other crimes.
The obvious cure for radicalization is truth and accountability. To cure its radicalized citizenry, our government needs only reform, and to respond to the urgings of its people, and also the international community. End these wars; stop supporting dictators and violent despots who oppress their people in exchange for hand outs. Get rid of the double standards, the lying and the greed for power and replace it with common sense and a desire to co-exist peacefully in the world with others of varied cultures, skin colors, languages, religions, etc. Stop coveting the natural resources of others to the extent that rather than to depend upon free market economics, you will stoop to any level in smash and grab operations for oil and other resources that always fail miserably, leaving only hatred, death and destruction behind them.
Unfortunately, there is little hope that our government will opt for the cure anytime soon. So, we the people are left with two options. 1). Shut up and refuse to criticize the government, hide our moral outrage, and just go along hoping that the wars will eventually end and gas prices will one day be 1.50 a gallon or cheaper forever, or 2). Refuse to shut up, and demonstrate our moral outrage in every legal way possible, keeping in mind that the anti-radicalization forces in our Congress are at work trying to find ways to criminalize dissent, which is what radicalization was called previous to the wars. Since word dissent implies some type of patriotism and noble intent, it has been exchanged for the dreaded word, radicalization.
Keep in mind that if you adopt #2, that it is a war after all. If we adopt the mentality of our government and the insane faction of warmongers and imperialists now controlling our government, we will realize that there are no rules. They will either shut us all up, or we will shut their insane arses down. Power to the people.

Mauri' Saalakhan to speak in Detroit again today (Saturday)
11006 Veirs Mill Rd, STE L-15, PMB 298 Silver Spring, MD. 20902 DHUL HIJJAH 1430 AH (Yesterday, Nov. 27, 2009) Assalaamu Alaikum (Greeting of Peace): I pray that my brothers and sisters in Islam have enjoyed a blessed day of Eid, and that there will be more blessed days to come. I was invited to serve as guest khatib for the first jumah (in English) at the Islamic Center of Detroit earlier today. Despite the fatigued state I was in, I was blessed to deliver a somewhat fragmented address that ended up being well received. Insha'Allah, I will continue where I left off this (Saturday) evening following salatul isha (about 7pm) at the same location – Islamic Center of Detroit (ICD) on Tireman St. By that time I should be well rested, and my address will include a special message for the young adult Muslims (male and female) in attendance, insha'Allah. Before departing Detroit, I also plan to honor the invitation that I received from Imam Elahi to join his community (The Islamic House of Wisdom) on Sunday morning for their Eid Breakfast, insha'Allah. I look forward to seeing some warm and familiar faces from the Shi'a branch of my religious tribe/family. With that said, please be advised that the Interfaith Dialogue on War and Peace will be moved to a later date (it will NOT take place this coming Thursday). There are a number of Muslim leaders that could not be in attendance because of the Hajj. The new date (which will be decided by the middle of next week, insha'Allah) will also give us more time to work with. We expect this upcoming dialogue forum to be well attended and well covered; and far more substantive then the average "interfaith dialogue" that most of us have become accustomed to. On a final note, the trial of Br. Fahad Hashmi is fast approaching in New York City (see below); the sentencing of Ehsanul Islam Saddaque (aka, Shifa) is also fast approaching in Atlanta, GA; and the trial of Dr. Aafia Siddique is not far behind (also in NYC). And speaking of our sister Aafia, I had a very disturbing (yet importantly revealing) experience last weekend in both New York and Connecticut when I attempted to address two large audiences of people (predominantly Muslims) on the sister's case. More on this later, insha'Allah. El-Hajj Mauri' Saalakhan AT 9:30 AM LOCATION : RICHARD B. As some of you may know, our respected brother Fahad's trial is set to begin on the 6th of January and this trial is scheduled to last for three weeks, inshaa'Allaah.
So, why does Fahad need YOU?- Fahad and his family have been waiting 3.5 years for this day to begin and how many of us have been aware of our brother's situation or even bothered to help him or his family and make du'aa for him all those 3.5 years?
- Did you know that Fahad is on a 23-hour solitary-confinemen
- Did you know that Fahad is permitted to write one letter a week to a single member of his family, but he cannot use more than three pieces of paper per letter. Within his own cell, he is restricted in his movements and he is not allowed to try to talk guards or other inmates?
- Our brother who hasn't even been trialed yet is forbidden any contact - directly or through his attorneys - with the news media. He can read newspapers, but only those portions approved by his jailers - and not until 30 days after publication. He is forbidden to listen to news radio stations or to watch television news channels.
- Imagine being under a 24-hour electronic monitoring inside and outside of a cell. Fahad is only allowed ONE hour of recreation every day - which is periodically denied - and not given fresh air but must exercise alone inside a cage.
"The dua of a Muslim for his brother in his absence (i.e. the person is not present and is not aware that you are making dua for him) is answered. An angel is appointed to be at his side. Every time that he prays for some good for his brother, the angel says: "Aameen. And may the same be granted to you." (Muslim)

My Brother
12 miles away in a cell is my brother
24 hour confined hell for my brother
They try to separate me with fear from my brother
But things arent as they appear with my brother
They call him a terrorist, I call him my brother
Tell me why they had to go take my brother
Because he says his Lord is Allah and no other?
Was it because he cared enough to teach did my brother
Or was it the hearts he used to reach did my brother
Was it that he was different from the crowd was my brother
Was it that he is a Muslim that is proud is my brother
They say that he's heartless, I say- my brother?
When they have him sitting in darkness, my brother
I ask Allah to pour out on him patience, my brother
3 years without trial he's waited, my brother
12 miles away in a cell is my brother
Sensory deprived hell for my brother
But I won't allow them to defeat my brother
As long as I can stand on my feet for my brother
As long as I can stand up and speak for my brother
I will not be afraid nor weak for my brother
I will not sit on the fence for my brother
I will stand up in defense for my brother
No effort too small or immense for my brother
I have no doubt they will clear my brother
And Allah will dry a mothers tears for my brother
But what I want to say here for my brother
If you're not willing to stand for your brother
Then this will only expand to your brothers
If you choose to forget or ignore my brother
I wont beg and I wont implore for my brother
I've seen the light emanate from the core of my brother
So It doesn't matter what they have in store for my brother
For Allah is my Lord... and He's the Lord of my brother
SENTENCE HEARING for SHIFA - DECEMBER 14, 2009
Please take action on this important social justice issue by writing letters and helping spread the word. A young Atlanta man has been convicted unfairly and is about to be
sentenced on four counts of conspiracy and attempt to provide
material support to foreign terrorist organizations. He has committed
no physical acts of violence. As he said himself at his trial in August:
"I was not then, and am not now a terrorist." He will be sentenced on DECEMBER 14, 2009
URGE JUDGE DUFFEY to SENTENCE SHIFA FAIRLY
Shifa faces up to 60 years in prison for crimes he did not commit. Shifa will be 83 years old before he gets out, if the judge throws the
book at him which is likely.
Student movements across Bangladesh sent over 2500 letters in support of Shifa. In the U.S., over 400 letters have been sent to Judge
Duffey, urging him to reduce the sentencing to time served
(best case scenario) or the lowest sentencing possible in accordance
with federal sentencing guidelines.

Who is Alain Soral?
Alain Soral (born 2 October 1958) is a French sociologist, essayist, and film maker, as well as being the author of several polemical essays. He is the brother of the actress Agnès Soral. Soral lives in the French Basque Country. Since June 2004, he has been a boxing coach. Alain Soral considers himself to be in the political "avant garde" of French society, claiming that his remarks and comments are always at first condemned and later widely accepted by the mainstream French public.[1]In [E&R] Questions à Alain Soral, Soral responds to the following question:
Within my analytic framework, which hypothesizes a Zionist Virtual Colonial Motherland that has evolved into a vastly powerful Zionist Imperial System, in which the United States government is an intimidated and dependent client, I deduce a process, for which the Zionist dispossession, oppression, and slow-motion genocide of Palestinians serves as the the model that will be gradually extended to an increasing proportion of the entire human race. Not advertised is that Defiance is the true story of the Jewish Bielski brothers who operated extremely effectively as anti-Nazi partisans (historically true), and saved many Jews as Schindler did, not as refugees--as surviving natives of the forest they hid, and thrived, in.

Daniel Craig and Liev Schreiber
The brothers fight each other one last time, and Zus, the more hawkish of the two, takes the best soldiers of the community to join a Soviet guerrilla force. Tuvia, a brilliant tactician, remains to lead and protect the community against insurmountable odds with minimal causalities. With the arrival of a major Nazi force, the Soviets retreat, and the community is attacked and forced into a swamp that is compared (quite sentimentally) to the Red Sea. Zus and his fighters rejoin the community just in time, flanking and exterminating the Nazis--to the extreme relief of both the community and the audience!
I don't mean this as a spoiler, but as an in-road into the history of WWII: the just, if complicated, war. I, as a pacifist, believe WWII was necessary.
Defiance also shows the military strategy that so has effectively defeated invaders through history, and especially in our own invasion of Vietnam: digging into the woods and living, literally, underground, the tunnel communities of the Viet Cong.
But most important, Defiance brings up the major ironies of the Second World War, and shows us how its ironies persist in our lives today, especially with respect to globalism.
While exposing us to the irony of this war, Defiance unintentionally makes us look at the issues surrounding the endless pogroms that have plagued Europe, not only against Jews, but an endless number of cultures and political groups. And, as it happens, the Bielski brothers were in fact traitors of a sort, and may have particiapted in a Soviet pogrom against Polish patriots.
Completely based on reality, and with minimal flights of cinematic fantasy, Defiance moved me to research the Bielski family. According to the Wikipedia, they fought the Nazis by with the Soviets who had invaded their region as part of the Soviet invasion of Poland. Not only did a few of the brothers fight for the Soviets, the entire Bielski family worked as low-level administrators for the Soviet occupiers. According to the Wikipedia, most Jews of the region supported the Soviet invasion whose most tragic event was the extermination of the Polish intelligentsia by Soviet partisans in the Katyn Forest under orders unanimously signed by the Soviet Politburo. The Bielskis have been accused of complicity in with the Soviet invasion--and in fact, the movie is set in the Katyn forest.
At War's end, the brothers had to escape the region, as they were themselves pursed by the Soviets for a variety of issues, including anti-socialism within their forest community!
The Bielski brothers are unquestionably historical heros of the first order, making necessary sacrifices, not only to survive, but to thrive. And the historical holes intentionally left in Defiance, Zwik's historical expediences, taken by movie's maker, Edward Zwick, (and perhaps the story's author, Nechama Tec) are actually heightened by many of the characters statements, making one extremely curious about the events of the time.
In the end, the Bielskis never sought credit for their efforts, as the exiting credits state--but then maybe there is a reason for this, the brothers' necessary, but regrettable, cooperation with the Soviets.
From the military perspective, I writhed in frustration at some of the Bielski's strategic missteps. But as it happens, those were cinematic fantasy; in reality both brothers were experienced fighters, and adapted perfectly to the needs of forest survival. And they survived immigration to the US to found a New York City trucking firm!
Get and enjoy this movie, know that it is violently tragic (and a little lenghty) but that it ends happily. And take it to the Net--learn about how it REALLY goes down in war and in war's aftermath!

Massachusetts Zionists Humiliate Catholic Church
Until Israeli and American Jews start to show some significant remorse for the atrocities that the IDF committed during the Gaza Rampage and that were recently publicized in the Goldstone Report, O'Malley has no business accepting any honors from racist Jewish American Zionists.
Isn't O'Mally aware that during last winter's IDF rampage Gaza's 300 member strong Roman Catholic community suffered from Jewish Zionist depredations along with all other Gazan Muslims and Christians?
Yet according to the account below:
The evening also included a musical performance by an interfaith choir made up of SASSDS students and St. Catherine of Siena School in Norwood, remarks by Arbeiter, Consul General of Israel to New England Nadav Tamir, and Rick Mann, president of the Friends of New England Holocaust Memorial. Rabbi David Paskin of SASSDS [South Area Solomon Schechter Day School], gave the invocation and benediction. The evening also included a candle lighting ceremony and a singing of “The Star Spangled Banner” and “Hatikva” the Israeli national anthem, by Lisa Yves Winner, a parent of an SASSDS student. It was bad enough that O'Malley was even present, but for him to remain during the playing of the Hatikvah boggles the mind.
Instead of leaving O'Malley told the gathering:
We must not be reticent in working to establish a civilization of love and solidarity. We must always remember the Holocaust, always remember the Kristallnacht, and the values and examples of so many heroic people who died in resisting. We must all pledge ourselves over and over and over again that it will never happen again. For Palestinians under Zionist oppression every day is Kristallnacht.
O'Malley distorts the Holocaust when he purports to remember it without recalling that by the 1930s, Jews were up to their eyeballs in targeted assassinations, murderous revolutionary violence, terrorism, mass murder, ethnic cleansing, conspiracy to commit genocide, and genocide both in Eastern Europe and also in the ME.
Is Zionist genocide any less heinous than German Nazi genocide because the Zionists are taking so long to complete the plan that they first began to formulate in 1880s?
If anything, methodically torturing and murdering Arab Palestine during a period spanning three centuries shows a level of cruelty that is probably unmatched in human history.
When the Church stands with the Jewish people, which is a false construct of Zionism or - to be more precise - of Jewish Nazism, the Church abandons Christ for Satan.
For Catholicism in America to be true to its mission, modern American Catholics need leaders as willing to condemn Jewish Zionist atrocities today as Fr. Coughlin was during the 30s to denounce the greed of Jewish bankers and the barbarism of Jewish communists.

Pilot photo/ Jim Lockwood |
The award was given by the SASSDS and the Israel Arbeiter Gallery of Understanding.
Accepting the award on the late pontiff’s behalf was Cardinal Seán P. O’Malley. Cardinal O’Malley also served as the keynote speaker for the evening.
The evening festivities included a reception in the gallery, which features a wall display of the life and times of Israel Arbeiter, a Holocaust survivor who is president of the American Association of Jewish Holocaust Survivors of Greater Boston. During the reception, Arbeiter showed the cardinal the gallery.
Rabbi David Paskin of SASSDS, gave the invocation and benediction. The evening also included a candle lighting ceremony and a singing of “The Star Spangled Banner” and “Hatikva” the Israeli national anthem, by Lisa Yves Winner, a parent of an SASSDS student.
Speakers during the evening recalled the legacy of the Holocaust, and praised Pope John Paul II for his work in attempting to establish peace in the Middle East and greater ecumenical cooperation between Christians and Jews.
“The Holy Father has stated that Catholics are called to stand with the Jewish people in preserving the memory of the Holocaust,” said Cardinal O’Malley. “Speaking with Jewish leaders in Warsaw, Pope John Paul II said, ‘Today the people of Israel, perhaps more than ever before, find themselves at the center of the attention of the nations of the world, above all because of this terrible experience through which you have become a warning voice for all humanity, for all nations, for all the powers of the world, all systems, and every person.’”
The late pontiff witnessed firsthand the Holocaust because, according to Cardinal O’Malley, the pope’s native Poland was among the hardest hit. Cardinal O’Malley said that 85-percent of Poland’s 3.3 million Jews died in the death camps, which was the largest Jewish population in Europe at the time.
Tamir concurred.
“Having grown up in Poland and having witnessed the beginning of the Holocaust, the Pope knew of what he spoke,” Tamir said.
He said that in 1986, the late pope was the first pontiff to visit a synagogue. He also recalled the pope’s 2000 visit to Israel, where he told the Israelis that he had witnessed the atrocities of the Holocaust.
“He delivered one of the most important speeches ever given on Israel’s soil,” Tamir said. “No one can forget or ignore what happened.”
Tamir credited the late pope for initiating relations between the Vatican and Israel, saying that that diplomatic tie is one of Israel’s most significant today.
“I feel that it’s important to note this evening that the work of uniting our faiths for the benefit of the common good does not end with the pope’s passing,” Tamir concluded.

[CrunchGear] A storm is brewing at Best Buy
Wishing Eid al-Adha is hardly special treatment for Muslims or Muslim holidays. Not only does Best Buy already use "Merry Christmas" (in many languages) as well as "Happy Hanukkah" in advertising campaigns,
but Eid al-adha is a rather religiously neutral phrase in the Thanksgiving season. For a Muslim adha (Arabic for sacrifice) refers to Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice of his son while for a non-Muslim American the adha is the turkey, which Benjamin Franklin recommended as the US national bird.
No one should be surprised that in Jewish Zionist dominated American Obama has focused on anti-Semitism by appointing Hannah Rosenthal as the State Department’s new special envoy to monitor and combat anti-Semitism despite the much more critical problem of American Islamophobia,
- which has international repercussions and
- which is generally incited by the Jewish Zionist intelligentsia funded by the Jewish Zionist plutocracy,
According to the JTA,
Rosenthal's predecessor ... Gregg ... Rickman said he hopes she will pay particular attention to venues such as the U.N. Human Rights Council, which he said is dedicated to solely going after Israel, and Arab countries, where bias against Jews is often cloaked in clever language.Khaled Amayreh explains the UN's real problem with Israel in his article appropriately entitled Zionists: We hate you because you are evil, not because you are Jewish.
A storm is brewing at Best Buy

Here it comes: Best Buy ran a national Black Friday ad inviting the world to celebrate Thanksgiving and Eid Al-Adha, the Muslim festival of sacrifice. Fair enough, right? Happy Eid! Well, take a gander at the ad up there and brace yourself.
Look closely. You’ll probably miss the good will and wishes, they’re so innocuous.
So you’d think that a national retailer would be praised for trying to reach out to its Muslim visitors and you’d also think that since Black Friday comes around Thanksgiving, an ostensibly “conservative” holiday,” they’d be excused for not putting baby Jesus in the carriage Toad drives in
Nope.

[FailedMessiah] RCA Bans Chabad Messianist Rabbis
Shlomo Riskin is well known as the former Rabbi of the upper Manhattan yuppie Lincoln Square Synagogue. The Soloveitchiks constitute an American Rabbinical dynasty, for which I have as little respect as I have for the Lubavitchers.
Boston's intensely racist Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik founded the extremist Maimonides Yeshiva, which produces dangerous subversive Islamophobes like Matthew Levitt.
In the last three paragraphs Shmarya Rosenberg, who is the editor of FailedMessiah.Com, shows some very typical confused and false beliefs about early Christianity and 2nd Temple Judaism.
Christian theology as we know it does not really crystallize until the 4th century. In the 1st century Judaic sages (Hakhamim -- not yet Rabbis in a modern sense) would most likely only have experience with various forms of Christian Judaism or Judaic Christianity.
The relations between Christian and non-Christian Judaic communities are complex from the 1st through the 4th centuries, but certainly instances of cordial relations are recorded by the Talmud. For example Avodah Zarah 4a (Babylonian Talmud) tells us that in the 4th century R. Abahu lived in a community (apparently Caesarea) that contained many Judaic Christians and that he even recommend the Babylonian sage R. Saphra to the Judaic Christians as a teacher.
RCA Bans Chabad Messianist Rabbis
RCA Bans 'Messianic Rabbis'
The Rabbinical Council of America (RCA) is banning Chabad rabbis with messianic beliefs from membership in its group.
By COLliveA rabbinical Modern Orthodox umbrella group in the U.S. is banning Chabad rabbis with messianic beliefs from membership.
The Rabbinical Council of America (RCA), one of the world's largest organizations of Orthodox rabbis, includes an "affirmation regarding messianic belief" clause to its membership application.
The clause states: "By checking this box and with my signature below, I affirm that the following resolution, adopted at the RCA's 1996 Annual Convention, reflects my beliefs:
"In light of disturbing developments which have recently arisen in the Jewish community... declares that there is not and never has been a place in Judaism for the belief that Mashiach ben David will begin his Messianic mission only to experience death, burial and resurrection before completing it."
This is seen as a direct rebuff to a group within the Chabad-Lubavitch movement who believes that the Lubavitcher Rebbe can still be the messiah.
While the Rebbe passed away on the third of Tammuz 5754, the group cites what Rav Nachman says in Gemara Sanhedrin implying the Moshiach could also come from the dead.
The RCA, associated with Yeshiva University, which employs critic of Chabad messianism Dr. David Berger, dates back to 1923 and its key member was Rabbi Yosef Dov Soloveitchik who was known to have had a friendship with the Rebbe.
His brother, Rabbi Ahron Soloveichik, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Brisk in Chicago, wrote in 2000: "We should not label subscribers to these beliefs as heretics."
Among its members are Rabbi Gedalia Dov Schwartz, Av Beit Din of the Chicago Rabbinical Council, and Rabbi Dr. Shlomo Riskin, Chief Rabbi of the Israeli city of Efrat - both friends of Chabad.
I called the RCA to check on this but Rabbi Herring wasn't available.

[Buffalo News] Mideast peace prospects dim
Whither America? Law or Jewish Privilege
Jerome Slater concludes the following op-ed with this paragraph:
What accounts for Obama’s reversals? The most obvious explanation is that Obama is giving priority to his ambitious domestic agenda and rightly fears that real pressure on Israel would backfire in Congress, where it is likely that some key members would, in effect, hold their support for Obama’s domestic programs hostage to his Israeli policies. While this is understandable, the consequences for a negotiated settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict are dim indeed.I have been tracking and discussing the intertwining of the issues of health care, financial reform and the Middle East conflict for a long time now: Health Care, Obama, Israel Lobby.
The Jewish kleptocracy, whose public face is the Israel Lobby, depends on health care price gouging and financial corruption for a large chunk of its wealth.
There is no chance for meaningful reform in either the medical or finance sector until the vastly powerful corrupt Jewish social networks are scorched throughout the world.
Because Jewish Zionist subversives have penetrated into the core of the US government, only an oblique approach that attacks the basis of kleptocratic cohesion has any chance of saving the USA.
The State of Israel is the keystone or linchpin of the Zionist system.
Abolishing the State of Israel is the first step to breaking the Jewish kleptocracy, putting its leadership in jail and clawing back the trillions of which the kleptocrats have defrauded Americans.
In the above videoclip Norman Finkelstein identifies the key to breaking the Zionist criminal syndicate.
The Goldstone Report is explicit in the section entitled Summary of legal findings: Actions by Israel in Gaza in the context of the military operations of 27 December 2008 to 18 January 2009, paragraph 1921:
The Mission found numerous instances of deliberate attacks on civilians and civilian objects (individuals, whole families, houses, mosques) in violation of the fundamental international humanitarian law principle of distinction, resulting in deaths and serious injuries. In these cases the Mission found that the protected status of civilians was not respected and the attacks were intentional, in clear violation of customary law reflected in article 51 (2) and 75 of Additional Protocol I, article 27 of the Fourth Geneva Convention and articles 6 and 7 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. In some cases the Mission additionally concluded that the attack was also launched with the intention of spreading terror among the civilian population. Moreover, in several of the incidents investigated, the Israeli armed forces not only did not use their best efforts to permit humanitarian organizations access to the wounded and medical relief, as required by customary international law reflected in article 10 (2) of Additional Protocol I, but they arbitrarily withheld such access. The IDF and the government it serves are terrorist entities.
Either the Jewish supporters of Zionism must be treated in exactly the same way under US, EU, and international law as Muslim supporters of Jihadism, or the international system has no claim to a foundation of law but serves only to bolster and expand Jewish exemption and privilege throughout the world.
Jewish disrespect for universal legal norms in politics and finance is longstanding.
The finance industry, in which Jews are disproportionately represented has achieved similar privilege and exemption from the rule of law as the videoclip below indicates.
Matt Taibbi was subjected to accusations of anti-Semitism for a critical article about Goldman Sachs even though it did not mention Jews at all.
Enforcing the law equally on Jews and Muslims or non-Jews is as critical to ending the War on Terror as it is to fixing the US finance industry.
Glenn Greenwald writes in Ex-Islamic radicals on what motivates -- and impedes -- extremism:
In other words, the very policies the U.S. has been pursuing in the name of combating Terrorism -- invading, occupying, and bombing Muslim countries; locking them up without trials; torturing them; violating the values we've been preaching to the world -- have been the most potent instruments for fueling Islamic radicalism and terrorism. By contrast, those who have been continuously accused of being "soft on Terrorism" and even being allied with the Terrorists -- those who opposes our various wars, who demanded and provided basic human rights protections and equal liberties to Muslims, who objected to their own governments' oppressive and belligerent policies -- have done more to diffuse and impede Muslim radicalism than virtually anyone else in the world. The critical word in the above paragraph is "equal." Not just Muslim radicals but all Americans and in fact all human beings should be enraged at the impunity that Jewish Zionists have achieved in national and international legal systems.
Obama will only make progress domestically and internationally by putting the State of Israel, Zionist organizations, and their supporters in the category of Specially Designated Terrorist Enties. Then it would become possible to purge the US government of Zionist subversives and to free America from the Zionist imperial system that is sucking each and every non-Jewish citizen dry.
Mideast peace prospects dim
Obama is embracing failed policies of past, making two-state solution unlikely
It seems evident President Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize because of what he hopes to do on behalf of peace—especially in the Middle East, the most dangerous region to U. S. national security and regional peace—rather than for what he has actually accomplished.
The contentious Iranian issue aside, there are currently two main threats to peace in the Middle East: the Taliban/al-Qaida threat in Afghanistan and Pakistan, which almost certainly is not amenable to a peaceful solution, and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which might be, but only with strong U. S. leadership.
It is widely agreed that the only hope for a stable settlement of that conflict is a “two-state solution,” meaning the creation of an independent and viable Palestinian state in the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem, living side by side with a secure Israel. The primary obstacle to such a settlement is not the Palestinian government of Mahmoud Abbas in the West Bank, which desperately wants an agreement. The central problem is that Israel directly occupies or otherwise controls all the territory that would be allotted to a Palestinian state.
If anything, Israeli policies, behavior and attitudes have hardened in the last few years. Consequently, in the absence of sustained and serious pressure by the United States— the only country taken seriously by Israel—there is no chance Israel will end the occupation and agree to Palestinian independence in the context of a two-state settlement.
Obama either does not understand these realities or is unwilling or unable to pay the domestic price that serious U. S. policy changes would assuredly entail. To be sure, in the early days of Obama’s presidency there were some promising signs—his apparent commitment to strong U. S. leadership to bring about a two-state settlement, his appointment of the highly respected George Mitchell as his representative in Israeli-Palestinian negotiations and his Cairo speech last March, in which he not only reached out to the Muslim world but specifically criticized Israeli policies in the occupied territories.
Since that promising beginning, however, Obama has been in full retreat from any political confrontation with Israel and its U. S. supporters— the consequence of which assuredly will be the collapse of his efforts to bring about peace in the Middle East.
There are a number of signs that Obama is essentially continuing the failed policies of Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and other previous presidents. First, most of his appointments
have gone to down-the-line supporters of Israeli policies, including Vice President Biden and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, whose future political ambitions make it unlikely that she will want to take on the “pro-Israel” forces.
Second, despite Obama’s repeated campaign rhetoric about the need to engage in diplomacy with one’s adversaries, he is following Israel’s lead in refusing to talk to Hamas. Not only is it the case that there can be no Israeli-Palestinian settlement without the concurrence of Hamas, there is evidence and expert opinion that the organization — in practice, though not always in rhetoric—is moderating its positions and will accept, de facto at least, a two-state settlement.
Third, it appears that the administration has given up on its efforts to get Israel even to take the first step toward peace-ending settlement expansion, let alone removing the existing settlements. The government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stonewalled Obama, and won. Indeed, it is stepping up new construction in the occupied territories, especially in Arab East Jerusalem, which it bluntly states will never be turned over to the Palestinians. If not, there is no chance for a two-state solution.
Finally, the administration has rejected out of hand the factual findings, conclusions and recommendations of the Goldstone Commission, which recently issued a long report (bitterly contested by Israel’s supporters) that blisteringly criticized Israeli behavior in its attack on Gaza last December and January, and called on the United Nations to consider taking Israeli “war crimes” to the International Criminal Court. Effectively stopping any international action, Obama’s U. N. representative termed the Goldstone Commission Report “unbalanced, one-sided and basically unacceptable.” Israel’s ambassador to the United States was pleased, saying that the American position “could have been drafted in Tel Aviv, it was so wonderful.”
What is the Goldstone Report? After last year’s attack on Gaza, the U. N. Human Rights Commission appointed Richard Goldstone to head an investigation. Goldstone is one of the world’s most prestigious jurists, who had led the legal fight against apartheid in his native South Africa and later was the chief prosecutor for the U. N. International Criminal Tribunal in the war crimes trials against leading Serbian and Rwandan officials. In addition, Goldstone is Jewish, regards himself as “a Zionist who loves Israel” and has a number of ties with that country, including service as a trustee of Hebrew University — where in 2000 he gave a speech pointing out that “bringing war criminals to justice stems from the lessons of the Holocaust.”
The concept of the “just war” is the dominant Western philosophy concerning the complicated efforts to subject warfare to moral constraints. The theory distinguishes between just causes to go to war — principally, self-defense — and just methods in warfare. Contrary to repeated charges in Israel and the United States, the commission in no way challenged Israel’s proclaimed cause, its right to respond to Hamas rocket or suicide attacks, but focused exclusively on its methods of “self-defense.”
The commission heard extensive testimony, conducted 188 interviews with officials, witnesses and victims in Gaza, examined thousands of pages of documents and photographs, held many public hearings, reviewed the extensive reports and findings of other international — and Israeli — human rights groups and made numerous on-site field visits in Gaza. As the commission noted, it also sought to learn the Israeli side of the story, but the Israeli government refused to meet with it or cooperate in the investigation.
Here are the commission’s main findings about actions in Gaza:
• It estimated that between 1,300 and 1,400 Palestinians were killed in the attack; it accepted the general assessment of various Israeli and international human rights groups that at least half of them were civilians, up to 40 percent of whom were women and children. Most of these casualties, the report found, were the consequence of “systematically reckless” and indiscriminate attacks (artillery barrages, white phosphorous antipersonnel shelling, etc.) in densely populated areas of Gaza.
Prior to the attack on Gaza, top Israeli military officials had publicly announced a revised military doctrine that, in the Goldstone Commission’s words, “explicitly admits the intentional targeting of civilian targets as part of the Israeli strategy.” The commission’s conclusion: “Statements by political and military leaders prior to and during the military operations in Gaza leave little doubt that disproportionate destruction and violence were part of a deliberate policy.”
Still, one might argue, the demonstrable fact that Israel deliberately chose disproportional or indiscriminate military methods does not demonstrate that civilians were deliberately targeted. Sadly, though, even that argument is problematic: the commission provided highly detailed and convincing discussions of 11 incidents in which Israeli forces launched attacks that intentionally killed a number of civilians.
• The Goldstone Report concluded that the Israeli attack was deliberately designed to “inflict collective punishment” on the people of Gaza, by striking at the economy and “the foundations of civilian life.”
After the free election of a large Hamas majority in parliamentary elections in Gaza in January 2006, Israel began what has widely been termed “the siege of Gaza.” It radically cut Gazan trade and commerce with the outside world and repeatedly bombed and shelled Gaza’s roads, bridges, factories, electrical networks, farms and olive orchards. In early November 2008, Israel drastically intensified the siege and (as one expert put it) “sealed all crossing points into Gaza, vastly reducing and at times denying food supplies, medicines, fuel, cooking gas and parts for water and sanitation systems.”
During the attack that began on Dec. 27, the Goldstone Commission reported, Israel “deliberately and systematically” engaged in extensive and “wanton” attacks, destroying private homes, schools, police stations, government institutions (among others, the Gaza Parliament was leveled), hospitals and ambulances, factories and industrial facilities, fuel depots, water and sewage plants, water storage tanks and various food production systems including orchards, greenhouses and fishing boats—all “for the specific purpose of denying them for their sustenance to the population of Gaza.”
After the attack, Israel continued its blockade of Gaza. Consequently, according to a number of international reports, unemployment is at least 50 percent, 80 percent are estimated to live below international poverty lines and 75 percent suffer from malnutrition.
• Goldstone accepted his appointment only after being assured that his mandate included an investigation into violations of international law and possible war crimes by Hamas, as well as by Israel. Accordingly, the commission’s report does discuss and condemn “the impact on civilians of rocket and mortar attacks by Palestinian armed groups on southern Israel,” as well as Hamas’ repression and violence against internal Palestinian opponents of its rule over Gaza.
These sections of the report are far briefer than those that deal with Israel, and there is no doubt that the commission considered Israeli policies and behavior to be far worse than those of Hamas. Moreover, the commission found “no evidence” that Hamas combatants deliberately exposed Palestinian civilians to attack or used them as “human shields,” or that they used hospitals and ambulances for military activities.
The overall conclusion was that the “systematic and deliberate nature of the activities described in this report leave the mission in no doubt that responsibility lies in the first place with those who designed, planned, ordered and oversaw the operations” — meaning the Israeli government and military leadership. The commission recommended that unless the Israelis (and Palestinians) carry out serious internal investigations within six months, the U. N. Security Council should consider referring the matter to the International Criminal Court for possible criminal proceedings against those who committed (in the commission’s words) “war crimes” or possibly even “crimes against humanity.”
How credible is the report? The conclusions, language and recommendations of the Goldstone Commission are, by the usually bland international standards, unsparing or even harsh. Even so, if its report is factually accurate, it is hard to see what else the commission could have concluded. As the award-winning Israeli journalist Amira Hass wrote, “The Goldstone Commission’s findings are in line with what anyone who didn’t shut his or her eyes and ears already knows.”
That is, its report confirmed previous reports by leading European, U. S. and Israeli journalists and newspapers before, during and after the Israeli attack, as well as the investigations and reports of international human rights organizations (including the Red Cross, CARE, Oxfam, Physicians for Human Rights, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and a number of U. N. agencies) and those by a number of Israeli human rights organizations, including B’tselem and Israeli Physicians for Human Rights. Finally, since the end of the attack some 30 Israeli soldiers who participated in it have confirmed and provided new details of the Israeli violations of international law and accepted moral restraints, as published in the appropriately named Israeli document, “Breaking the Silence.”
So, what now? There is little chance that the commission’s
recommendations will be implemented. The Israeli government and military already have “investigated” their own actions and concluded that they were appropriate, indeed that they have “the most moral army in the world.” To be sure, there is talk in Israel of a new investigation, if only to fend off facing an international criminal tribunal. However, the likelihood that the government will accuse itself of war crimes seems small.
Nor, in light of U. S. opposition, will the United Nations be able to act, let alone the International Criminal Court. In essence, then, Obama is rapidly returning to traditional U. S. policies, which amount either to essentially unconditional U. S. support of whatever Israel does or, at most, weak hand-wringing — for example, “the settlements are an obstacle to peace” — unaccompanied by any firm measures and therefore routinely disregarded by Israel. Indeed, Obama already has made it known that U. S. diplomatic and military aid to Israel will not be used as leverage to get the Netanyahu government to agree to end the occupation and allow the creation of a Palestinian state. Therefore, there is no chance that it will.
While this is understandable, the consequences for a negotiated settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict are dim indeed.
Jerome Slater, professor emeritus of political science at the University at Buffalo, has taught and written professionally about Israeli policies for more than 40 years. He has close personal ties with Israel and is a former Fulbright lecturer at Haifa University. In 1970, following three years as an anti-submarine warfare officer on a U. S. destroyer, he offered to serve on an Israeli destroyer should war break out with Egypt, but Israel declined.

Dieudonné elaborates on his anti-Zionist activities in Tehran
Tehran Times Art Desk
TEHRAN -- French actor and political activist Dieudonné M’bala M’bala attended a press conference held here in Tehran on Sunday and talked about his productions in France as well as his anti-Zionist activities.
The conference was held at the Cinematic Department of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in which Dieudonné expressed his interest in working in Iran’s cinema.
Dieudonné is famous for his anti-Zionist attitudes. He is also the owner of the Théâtre de la Main d’Or in Paris, which is used for both stand-up comedy and political events by himself as well as friends and colleagues, such as the militant anti-Semitic “Tribu Ka”.
“I am a comedian in France and have worked on several screenplays and scenarios. Here in Tehran I was a jury member for the Tehran International Short Film Festival and had the time to watch over 90 short films, all of which I believe were of excellent quality.
Dieudonné regarded the role of cinema, art and culture as important in bringing the world’s nations closer to one another, adding, “I have discussed producing joint films in your country, Iran, (with Deputy Culture Minister for Cinematic Affairs Javad Shamaqdari) and I have also initiated the new concept of Shoahnanas (Holocaust Pineapples) which focuses on the Holocaust.
“It is forbidden to talk about Holocaust in France, but I have arranged the comedy in such a way that it ridicules the issue of the Holocaust. Comedy is an influential tool and now that we cannot speak directly about it, this is the best approach to use.
“I have another project centering on a storyline that takes place during the reign of King Louis XIV of France and treats the issue of the African slave trade in France,” he remarked.
He later talked about the reasons for his fights against the Holocaust and slave trade and said, “I personally stand against any movement that mistreat people. The black community in France has tolerated much pain and this has pushed me to stand up against all forms of oppression and make use of comedy in my country where there is no justice.”
On his reason for choosing Iran for his joint productions, he said, “Today, there are only a few countries like Iran which is open to joint productions on these types of issues.”
Dieudonné continued saying that he also met President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Saturday and they both held talks on art and the important role it plays in the freedom of nations. “We also discussed that the world is dominated by imperialism and that one can not make use of art to depict this. The President also stressed making the best use of art and culture to accurately portray imperialism and capitalism. We also discussed the censorship conducted by the Zionist lobby in Europe and their influence on the media.”
Dieudonné emphasized that France is a big country and it is one of the largest colonial powers in the world. Freedom in this country is reserved for the wealthy class of people, “but I still like France.”
He later talked about Iran’s cinema and said, “I had not watched many movies before coming to Iran but heard a lot about it. I had only watched ‘Saint Mary’ (Shahriar Bahrani). I saw a few short films here in Tehran and also “Kingdom of Solomon” (Shahriar Bahrani) at a private screening.”
Dieudonné talked about the problems he has tolerated for his anti-Zionist attitudes, “the Zionist lobby has put a lot of pressure on me. I had at least 200 plays scheduled for performance but they were all canceled. To get around this, I bought a big bus in which I can travel to different districts and then perform my plays when I get there. In one of my performances, I was blatantly attacked by four Israeli men, and as a consequence, I have been summoned to various courts.”
Deputy Culture Minister Shamaqdari was supposed to attend the conference, but did not take part since he was attending another session. Sources indicate that there will be a conference with his participation next week.
